These are my stories, my clients’ stories, and my guests’ stories — living proof that healing, peace, and purpose are always within reach when we choose to be present, be breathing, and be curious.

My Own Radical Remission Journey: Healing Through Awareness

In 2020, I was diagnosed with a desmoid tumor, a rare and stubborn condition that took me all the way to the Mayo Clinic in search of answers. I tried everything — traditional treatments, alternative therapies, and deep research — but nothing was working.

Then I discovered a book called Radical Remission by Dr. Kelly Turner. It outlined 10 factors shared by 1,500 people who had experienced extraordinary healing. As I read, I realized I was already doing eight of them. The two I had not yet addressed were releasing past trauma and accepting social support.

At that point, I was embarrassed and trying to hide what I was going through. Vulnerability was not something I was comfortable with. I’d built my life on strength and independence, not asking for help.

Shortly after finishing that book, Dr. Ron Stotts was a guest my podcast. At the time, I didn’t realize how much that meeting would change my life. Dr. Ron specializes in helping people release the trauma stored in their bodies — the exact piece of my healing puzzle that had been missing.

Before working with him, I wasn’t vulnerable at all. Within four sessions, everything began to shift. Not only was I healing, but I also began coaching differently — guiding my clients to access their subconscious minds, just as Dr. Ron had guided me to access mine. The results were astronomically better.

It made perfect sense. If you were trying to repair a company and were only allowed to work on 5% of it, your impact would be limited. But when you can access the full 100%, everything transforms.

Through learning to release trauma and accept genuine support, my body began to heal. My tumor has since shrunk by approximately 25%, and I’ve never felt more peaceful, aligned, and free.

That experience became the foundation for the work I do today — as Executive Coach and Co-Director of the Life & Transformational Division at The Coaching Nexus, and Co-Owner of Next Level Coaching with Dr. Ron Stotts.

As Dr. Ron always says:

The 100-Hour Water Fast — Renewing Mind, Body, and Spirit

About a year after beginning my work with Dr. Ron, I felt drawn to an experience that would challenge every part of me — a 100-hour water fast.

What started as a physical experiment quickly became a spiritual awakening. Within 48 hours, my body had created an entirely new gut biome, and by 100 hours, it had generated all new stem cells.

When the fast was complete, my thinking was sharper than it had ever been. I had a deep sense of calm and mental clarity that felt like starting over — not just physically, but energetically.

Fasting taught me the power of surrender. It reminded me that our bodies are miraculous when we give them the space to heal.

That said, there are real dangers to fasting without guidance. I went through difficult moments I wasn’t prepared for, which is why I recorded a podcast episode to help others learn from my experience and navigate it safely.

Ryan M. — From Doubt to Leadership

Ryan began coaching with me over four years ago. She was already a high-performing leader but carried quiet self-doubt beneath her success. Through our work together — integrating breathwork, awareness, and subconscious reprogramming — Ryan began to embody confidence and clarity from the inside out.

One of the most meaningful podcast episodes I’ve ever recorded was with Liz, who teaches Radical Remission workshops. She shared the ten key factors people use to heal — and during that conversation, I realized how closely her message mirrored my own journey.

She emphasized that social support and emotional release are just as vital to healing as nutrition or exercise. Our conversation was a beautiful confirmation of how interconnected the physical, emotional, and spiritual truly are.

That episode remains one of the most impactful on my YouTube Live series because it captures the essence of what transformation really means — letting go of isolation and learning to connect deeply, with ourselves and with others.

The Cave and the Treasure

Dr. Ron and I often talk about what we call “the cave work.” Each of us has a personal cave — the place inside where we’ve stuffed pain, fear, and trauma we weren’t ready to face.

Our role as guides is to help people gently, courageously, and compassionately enter that cave — because as Joseph Campbell said:

“The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.”

When you’re willing to face what’s inside with presence, breath, and curiosity, you find that the treasure was never outside you at all — it was always within.

The Common Thread

Every transformation begins with awareness.

When we breathe through what we’ve been resisting, we reconnect with the intelligence that’s been guiding us all along. Healing, clarity, and peace aren’t things we chase. They emerge naturally when we return to presence.

Transformation isn’t about becoming someone new — it’s about remembering who you truly are.
